If you decide to book this country house, located about 20 km just between Orange and Avignon for a stay in Provence you'll be delighted by its peaceful setting and its exceptional generous space, even if you travel with a large family or a group. The location is ideal for a quick detour to interesting places in the region such as L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue (18 km), Gordes and Saint-Rémy-de-Provence (35 km) ...
The owners live in a separate house on the kitchen side, but as the entrance is opposite, this raises neither inconvenience nor disturbance.

INSIDE
You enter through the air-conditioned lounge/TV room. To the left is the dining room, followed by the kitchen and utility room. There is also a separate WC on the ground floor. On the right, the staircase with its narrow steps leads to the sleeping area with 6 air-conditioned bedrooms, including 3 family suites. The first floor houses a bedroom with a double four-poster canopy bed, a bedroom with two single bunk beds, and a bathroom with WC; all three separated by an entrance hall.
Then, 8 stone steps down, you will find another bedroom with a double bed (or 2 x 80 cm) and an adjoining shower room with WC. The third bedroom (family suite) has a large double bed, and is adjoined by a small bedroom with 2 custom-made children's beds at right angles to one another in the corner of the room, through which you pass to get to the adjoining shower room with WC.
From this level, a wooden staircase leads to the second floor, which boasts a family suite with a large double bed (or 2 x 80 cm), adjoining a small children's bedroom with a single bed, which leads to the adjoining shower room with WC.
The last family suite has a large double bed, adjoining a small bedroom with 2 custom-made children's beds at right angles to one another in the corner of the room, through which you pass to get to the bathroom with WC, which is adjoining and therefore closed off by a door.
NB: We recommend the 3 family suites for families with young children (up to 10 years) because of their configuration and the size of the beds. Only the children's bedroom with bunk beds can accommodate older children (please note that the bunk bed is not suitable for children under 6).


OUTSIDE
A pretty wrought-iron gate opens in front of the country house onto a 1000 m2 part of this large, fully fenced plot where the remaining 4000 m2 are leading towards the pool area. The plot provides sufficent space to park six cars safely. From the kitchen, a door leads to a beautiful arbour shaded by a trellis, ideal place to enjoy your meals. Young and old alike will have fun around the boules court, table tennis table and table football in the games room. The pool house with shower and WC near the large, heated pool provides shade and rounds off the overall facilities.

OUR OPINION
Very charming and generously equipped country house in Provence, which also offers a large family or group of friends the advantage of enough space for appreciated privacy. The heated and fully fenced pool, the generous furnishings, the air conditioning and the tranquillity of the location- all speak in favour of this provencal Mas in the south of France. The whole area is a pleasant setting for interesting excursions.
