Hello
We really really loved this villa. It was totally perfect for us. The gardens were beautiful and the outside terrace wonderful. We loved sitting having a drink looking out over the garden and the pool. The house was so well equipped - it had everything. We liked the fact it felt like a family home, rather than a soulless 'rental'. It gave it real character and warmth. The couple who met us were so friendly and helpful and so loved the house - we wanted to look after it for them. The setting was perfect - a quiet country lane, but a few minutes drive from Eyragues which we loved as it was so local and no English people! And only 10mins from St Remy. It was the perfect setting. We definitely want to come back again.
There were only two tips we thought that could make it even better:
- to have a booklet with some practical information - we didn't know the wifi code, or what to do with the rubbish, or what to do with the keys when we left, or all the different light switches. It would have been helpful to have had this information.
- to have some more lighting on the terrace at the back. We loved sitting out there but it got quite dark! We only discovered the floor lights at the end of our stay, but even with these the table was still very dark.
But everything else was perfect and we loved it. Hopefully the above is just a couple of small helpful practical tips.
Thanks for all your help too. You were always there to answer any queries - great service.

We asked the owners to leave an Instructions sheet for the points raised.
The house was so beautiful! It was clean and very well appointed with everything we could need for self catering. The pool was great with many toys to make use of. The table tennis and table football were welcome additions for the children (and adults!). While the house keeper had very little English, she was welcoming and friendly and quick to respond when we had a query.
The location is lovely. Hard to find in the dark as it’s at the end private road, but beautiful in that it’s surrounded on all sides by vine fields. It is close to a lovely town with lots too of shops and restaurants to explore. We had a wonderful time!
By far the best villa that we have ever stayed in, either in France or in Spain. 4 adults and 5 children, we enjoyed 2 wonderful weeks in this clean, spacious and stylish home. The hosts were exceptional in welcoming us. The home was wonderfully cool, the pool was spacious and immaculately clean. We had everything we needed in the kitchen, plenty of games for the children, and an excellent location to visit Marseille, Nimes, St Remy, Arles, the Carmargue etc.
We would highly recommend this wonderful villa.
We had a fantastic holiday here. The villa was in a superb location for exploring Provence. We visited Gordes, Aix-en-Provence, Salon de Provence, Cassis, La Ciotat and Marseille. We also enjoyed lazy days by the pool relaxing in the outside area, which was extremely well equipped. Inside the Villa had everything we could have asked for and the air conditioning in the bedrooms was very welcome in August. It was also walking distance to a superb bakery, small supermarket and bar and restaurant. We would love to return! Online booking was easy and communication with Provence Villas Selection was excellent. Thoroughly recommended.
Rachael C.We had an amazing time at the villa. Great acommodations, pool, it had everything we needed to cook, to enjoy our family in peace. It was clean, and the team received us in the arranged times, explaining everythig we needed to know. Close to the village center, and very well located in the Provence area. I would definitely rent it again in the future. Special thanks to Elea, who supervised our stay.
Leandro P.All our party of 5 adults loved Villa Helios and would happily book again. . Lovely elevated setting in country of vines and olive groves. Spacious living area with choice of seating areas. well equipped kitchen , Good bedrooms and plumbing. Lovely terrace and pool with good equipment. Sandrine who greeted us charming and helpful.
The house as well as the surroundings were magnificent.
Marianne F.We had a great 2 weeks at La Pause. It's secluded location and panoramic views were breathtaking. Our aim was to eat in one night and then sample the delights of the local restaurants on alternate evenings, but the view from the veranda was just so good we soon changed our plans. The slight hitches were there was no air-conditioning in the bedrooms which made the nights a bit hot and sticky, but I understand that is being fixed over the coming winter and the WIFI wasn't didn't reach to some of the bedrooms. But the house, the welcome and the views more than made up for those minor details. It's a great location Provence. Plenty of local markets and places to explore, plus walks right on your doorstep. The house was clean and we were made to feel right at home from the outset. The local bakery is also a big plus. We're hoping to head back there in years to come.

The living area and room 1 now have air conditioning. Rooms 2 and 3 are equipped with fans as they are cooler. WIFI is going to work in all of the rooms now. The garden has been completely restructured by the renowned landscape designer Sylvere Fournier.
We had a great week at Les Bambous. It's very well situated for exploring the region, and the property was exceptionally comfortable and well equipped. Although it's in a residential area, it felt very secluded and private, and the garden was beautifully looked after. Inside, the air conditioning was welcome, but the whole site is very well shaded. J. was a welcoming host, and gladly met us late in the evening when we arrived having travelled down on the train. We would recommend the property highly.
Peter D.We spent a wonderful sunny, warm week at Mas de la Violine, surrounded by vineyards and medieval hilltop towns, partially restored. The food, the wine and the countryside all contributed to a delightful time in the Vaucluse. The Mas was comfortable and well supplied with everything we needed. The views from the pool were spectacular.
George I.We had a lovely holiday in the Villa - the pool, the garden and all outside areas were fantastic.
The Villa is very comfortable and the owners very helpful and friendly.
We would recommend the villa to our friends.
Two small points - There weren't many good sized water glasses or coffee mugs and another fan in the double bedroom upstairs would help as it was a bit hot in the 2 bedrooms up stairs.
Thank you to the owners and to Gerlinde for all your help.

The landlady has been advised and she'll do the necessary to complete the water glasses, coffee mugs and the fan in the bedroom upstairs.
What an absolutely gorgeous house - we all had an amazing relaxing holiday. The distance to local shops and restaurants was much further than stated therefore not really walkable, which wasn’t too much of a problem for us as we had an elderly relative with us so driving was always the option! There wasn’t a ping pong table as stated but again not too much of a problem for us! The house itself was absolutely stunning. Thank you again for yet another great holiday.

The owner specifies that the villa is well located, as indicated on our site, 1.5 km from the historic village centre of Montfort sur Argens. In this centre you can find a village grocery store, two bars, one of which sells tobacco and a restaurant. On the other hand, the small supermarket is at the other end of the village, about 1.8 miles ( 3 km) from the villa.
As for the ping pong table, it was damaged at the beginning of the season and it has been removed from our description.
Very nice villa with a great view. Very calm location, but a good starting place to explore the area.
The house is well-equipped and the swimming pool is very well maintained.
A very nice accomodation, for a great holliday.
Absolutely great house -- perfect in every way. And an ideal location.
Rosemary C.Great house, lovely pool and the welcome was very nice. Great location to visit the local area and see the south of France.
