The north of the Var department is worth a visit

On the edge of the Verdon Regional Natural Park, in a residential area belonging to Aups, you can spend your holiday in the countryside, in a cosy villa surrounded by a large olive grove. Salernes,10 km away, is famous for the terracotta tiles, usually applied in Provençal houses. Just 5 km to drive to Moissac-Bellevue, a village which still shows its genuine character and lives up to its name.

In the Provençal village of Carcès, 8 km away, you will find everything you'd need. Some spots which are not to be missed for discovering, are the Verdon Gorge and the lake of Sainte-Croix, less than 50 km away, as well as the beautiful villages of Moustiers-Sainte-Marie or Aiguines, all definitely worth a side trip.
