Our opinion : An ideal place for completely peaceful holidays and a spacious house which has managed to keep the marks of its past with all the modern comforts and pleasant facilities. The small port at Somail invites you to discover it: walks along the canal, painting workshops, antique book shops. (50000 works), and unwind in the inland areas. Possibility of hiring bikes and canal boats.

The large iron gate opens onto the 2,000 m2 property whose outdoors is well equipped for children with wood cabins, a slide, swings and the possibility of walking in the 30 hectare vineyard which adjoins the property or go bike riding, as there are 5 adult bikes available for you. The swimming pool has a 2 m by 5 m wide shelf, with a depth of 40 cm, followed by two steps. It is enclosed by a beautiful forged iron barrier. The pool house has a lounge area and a table with a mosaic top. There are also loungers and an exterior shower. You can play pétanque or table tennis before heading to the covered terrace adjoining the kitchen.

You enter by the kitchen, a very well-equipped living room which then leads to the dining room, followed by the lounge with fireplace. These rooms can also be entered through the majestic hall which leads upstairs. This hall has a store room with a wine climate cellar, a 4 person Jacuzzi room and a floor-level shower. Still on the ground floor you will find a separate WC, as well as a bedroom with double bed and integrated shower room with WC which are handicapped accessible. Upstairs, on the canal side, there is a bedroom with double bed and an integrated hydro-massage shower with WC. It opens onto a 10 m2 partly-covered terrace with a table and bench for your relaxation. Opposite it, on the swimming pool side, there is a shower with a double bed and a single bed, and an integrated bathroom with a WC, a bedroom with 2 double beds, a bedroom with 2 single beds and an adjoining shower room with a WC. At the end of the corridor there is a shower room with a WC, and opposite it a final bedroom with a double bed and integrated bathroom with a WC. All the bedrooms are air conditioned and there is central heating in the entire house. On the second floor, the relaxation area includes a games room with table football, a well-equipped gym and a shower room with a WC, which you go through to get to the 4 person sauna, which is located in a tower with a view over the Canal du Midi.
