In a small village near Tarascon, 20 kilometres from Saint-Rémy-de-Provence, this impressive 17th century property with extensions dating from the 18th century, which has over 600 m2 of liveable space and a 5,000 m2 garden. The interior decoration is unique - the owner's unusual ornaments and exceptional antique furniture offer originality and novelty. This farmhouse has retained its charm and authenticity even with its restoration. The garden, with the swimming pool built in the form of an ornamental stone pond and surrounded by fruit trees, is a joy to behold. Its location is ideal; at the centre of a fascinating tourist region, allowing you to visit Provence without long drives. Baux-de-Provence is 25 kilometres away with the Domaine de Manville golf course, and Avignon, the Papal city, is 20 kilometres away. The house is attached at the rear of the building , without any property overlooking it, thus offering complete privacy. The outern spaces as well as the swimming pool are totally private for you.
You enter the property via a driveway with fruit trees running alongside it. The 5,000 m2 property has a very well maintained and original garden thanks to its composition and furniture. The swimming pool was built in the form of a stone pond with a view out onto the field of apple and cherry trees. Its charm also comes from the arbours which the property has created, the iron beds which can be used as sofas and the mats on the ground which provide original places to relax. The farm has a large interior courtyard adorned with flowers and trees where you can enjoy your meals or read in the shade of an old acacia tree. The building has a large, open inner wing opening onto the courtyard, under which you can play table tennis. Not far from the property you can see bulls and wild Camargue horses.
You enter through a hallway which leads on the right to a library with sofas and a fireplace, and from there on to the ochre lounge and the red lounge with its wonderful sofas beds. The bay windows, with views of the garden and the two beautiful 17th century fountains, give the lounge exceptional character. On the left is the large and very well equipped kitchen with its gas range cooker and a 60 m2 eating area. This room looks out onto the farm courtyard where several atmospheres converge to create an unexpected and relaxing change of scenery. There is also a WC on this floor. Opposite the entrance is the first staircase which leads upstairs to two bedrooms. The first, with a satellite television, has a king size bed and an adjoining bathroom with a WC. The second bedroom has a queen size bed and an adjoining bathroom with a WC. Immediately before the red lounge, another staircase leads to two further bedrooms. One has a king size bed with an integrated bathroom and satellite television. The other has a double bed with an adjoining bathroom with a WC. From the ochre lounge you enter a second kitchen and a new shower room. From the outside, you enter the adjoining wing at the rear of the building which has two further bedrooms, one of which has a king size bed and the other a queen size bed. Each one has a television and an adjoining bathroom with WC.
