Saint-Rémy-de-Provence hosts this mansion with its garden and private, heated swimming pool. It is located in the village, 500m from the centre, which will enable you to go shopping by foot, to stroll through this pretty little typical Provençal town, and to experience many café terraces.
At only 30 minutes away, you can discover the majestic site of Les Baux-de-Provence or play golf at the Domaine de Manville, both of great beauty. For lovers of cities of Art and History, where you will want to go for an essential excursion, will be Avignon and its impressive Palais des Papes (Palace of the Popes), the theatre festival in July, as well as Arles and Nîmes, with their admirably preserved Roman arenas. Another magical place, The Camargue, with its wild plant life and wildlife, only a short hour away by car, will provide you with a certain change of scene. The house is terraced, with other buildings attached to either side.

|You enter the property through a wrought iron gate, which overlooks the enclosed garden, comprised of its heated swimming pool, surrounded by a lawn. In front of the house, the beautiful terrace, in part shaded by the reeds, overlooks the lounge. You can park one car in the garden, and a second one in front of the gate.|

|On the ground floor, you enter through the hall, which leads to the large lounge/diner. In line with the diner, you have the very well equipped kitchen, with its well-lit glass roof, as well as the laundry room. The entrance hall also leads into an office space, with a sofa as well as a toilet. At the end of the hallway, stairs lead to the first floor, where you will find two bedrooms, separated by a walk-in wardrobe. Both have two single beds put together as King Size beds. The first bedroom has an integrated shower room with double sink and separate toilet. On the landing, you have another antic marble bathroom and a separate toilet. On the second floor, you have three bedrooms, the first one is a loft room, and has two single beds which can be separated, one 120 cm bed (for children or teens) as well as an ensuite-shower. The second bedroom has a double bed and the third one has a single bed. On this landing, you will find a shower room and a separate toilet.|

Look at the Insurance conditions
Generally we were very pleased. However, there are just two points to bring to your attention.
!. We were a party of 6 people. One group (of two people) arrived during the day and were able to make contact with Mdme. Norblin who gave them directions to the property. The second group ( of four people) arrived mid-evening and were unable to contact the first group. This meant that the second group relied upon the simple address.
Unfortunately, the house number is attached at a height of 6 metres to a telephone pole ~ at night is was impossible to see. Also there is no mention anywhere of the house name "La Verriere".
So ~ it was impossible for the second group to find. Fortunately, one of the first group became concerned at the late arrival and came to the street to look for the others !
I would recommend improving the signage.
2. The internet signal was very, very intermittent in the study and lounge as well as being non-existent in the bedrooms.
Otherwise, we enjoyed out stay.
PVS COMMENTS :
The owners have been noticed to adapt the signage also for tenants who drive without GPS indications, so to enable them to locate easier the property; also they try to make improvements on the Wifi connection.
