Our opinion : Living in a castle..who has not yet dreamed of this ? And of a panoramic view on the Ardèche hills, the Cévennes and the Uzès valley. As soon as you arrive at the castle, take in the magic of an exceptional holiday ! In addition, the thousand-year-old city of Orange is only 25 km away and offers culture lovers the Museum of History and Art, for further entertainment the market on Thursday mornings, and for music lovers the Chorégies d'Orange, organized during the summer season.

You reach the chateau through a large avenue of pines, and a manual gate closes the garden, where you can park. Righthand is the pool area, with its pool set above ground, nevertheless large enough for you to cool off. The gate to the castle courtyard is located where the drawbridge once used to be at that time. This area conveys an intimate atmosphere and is beautifully planted. As well, you'll have a breathtaking view from the huge terrace over the ancient moat, located on the kitchen level. To the right, the look at the imposing centuries-old ruins, and lefthand the residential part to spend a holiday in a particular and rather fascinating, not ordinary atmosphere.

Only covered by the roof, the entrance hall leads on the left into a living room with imposing stone walls ; it is furnished as a bedroom with a single bed, a 140 cm wide sofa bed and two 70 cm wide futons. This is followed directly by the huge, sunlit lounge with TV, library and board games, provided with comfortable sofas, from where you have a view of the XII. century chapel of Saint-Pierre. This living space leads to the kitchen, where it continues to a vaulted bedroom with two single beds and an integrated shower room with private WC. Outside view is given from the cannoned shoot embrasur, but nobody can see you. From the kitchen, a staircase leads to the tower, from where you can access a bedroom with a large double bed and an adjoining bathroom with WC. But also the stairs from the entrance hall on the right can bring you up. The kitchen may also be accessed from this side, where furthermore 4 steps lead to a separate shower room with WC. Very popular with children, a miller's ladder leads to a bedroom with skylight, furnished with two single beds and a 140 cm wide floor mattress.
