Introduction A typical ancient provencal farmhouse, tastefully restored with its proper plane tree path, around cypress hedges and acres of grassland near the Camargue. The every day shops are 1 mile from the house and supermarket about 10 miles. Inside Both wings, one fully air conditioned for 6 residents and the other for 4 residents, air conditioned on the ground level, are very well appointed and meticolously maintained. On the groundlevel in the main-wing, the entrance opens onto a very spacious lounge/dining, a cosy and completely equipped kitchen also with dining amenities, further a shower and wc, also useful when staying near the pool. The first level is settled with a study on mezzanine, three pretty bedrooms with each private bath or shower all sharing a separate wc on this floor. The wing aside has an entrance space which opens in the bright lounge and kitchen/dining. From there access is given to a charming outern arbour. On the first floor, two double bedrooms, one ideal for children, share a well appointed bathroom. Outside A peaceful paradise on 20 acres land with its spacious yard on the Southern front and a landscaped swimming pool with cascades running down. Stone tiled around, in a well kept lawn and behind the house, for siesta- fans the ideal setting shaded by big trees. Our opinion An authentic and true haven of peace at only 20 minutes from the charming villages of Alpilles and within 30km of the Camargue. Good level for the outlayings inside and great spaces outside. We were conquered.    |
